Soft top pick up conversion. Is it possible?? was created by davert85
As the title ses guys.
Iv seen a few cracking hartop pick up conversions, a blue one posted very recently. They look the dogs dangly bits.
Obviously with a soft top i pretty much have a pick up anyway, but if i wanted to make it a more permanent fixture is this possible? Structually its weaker than a hardtop but so much so it cant be done/not advised?
If not im just going to take the roof off and leave it off. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can make a back though? Permanent or semi, to help keep the driver/passenger out the elements and keeep noise down. I was just going to do a similar thing to some pick up bed covers, stick some hooks all around the frame where the roof sits and on the floor then cut a out some material and attach loops around it which hook onto the attatvhed hooks. I hope that makes sense haha. It does not need to be safe as its garaged.
Anyway.....any ideas and tips welcomed
