You would need a rocklobster box aswell a body lift and 4 inch suspension lift bigger arches . Chassis and body modding so they dont catch and uprated shafts . Anything is posible if you have the cash lol .realistically 31 inch tyres are the biggest you can go without major problems . But i would say 29inch is best allrounder

I wouldn't want bigger than my 31's, it took a fair bit of cutting to get them to clear with the suspension articulating and steering working at full lock. Another inch and it would require the sills and front body mounts to be modified and not just bashed to clear.

I've got 235/75's on mine -

With a 4" suspension lift and no arch cutting...

Gearing is spot on onroad - speedo is right, with a RockWatt rocklobster box - and offroad is perfect...

I wouldn't go much bigger than that...

I had some on a 1300 SJ back in the day, fitted 410 diffs to lower the gearing, was not terribly stable on the road and offroad was just about unusable as any side slope would make things very tippy, 31" on 25mm offset wheels worked well.

Looked good tho.
