I like my unsnapped half shafts, so I don't think I'll pursue them :)

This is the reason why I got rid of my special tracks, aswell as their bad road manners, the Jimny works better with a less aggressive lighter weight tyre

Ye I was thinking that, bloke that has them says he used them everyday to and from work with no issues other than noise......

Perhaps true, but that doesn't mean they are safe or legal. The difference in handling and stopping distance between HT tyres and MT tyres is big enough- tractor tyres would be shocking! And they would not be covered by insurance.

If I find an MOT failure Jimny for running about the farm I'll definitely be putting some on though!

not in Agriculture Busta, just love them for the forest. Traction outta them is phenominal.

I would never never never use these on tarmac, they'd be lethal, plus, they would wear down in no time. You see how tractors wear them down on tarmac, well there is very little rubber on the grips compared to a tractor tyre, so i cant see them lasting long.

from what ive picked up about offroad tyres -

the reason that all terrains grip better in the wet is that there is more rubber in contact with the tarmac.
Also the reason that extreme mud terrain tyres like fedimas and so on, make more noise, there is less rubber in contact with the tarmac, causing vibration when the bit that is there hits the tarmac.

now picture argi thread hitting the tarmac, lol
