Thank you very much for the provided information about the second car.
I checked the car personally and it was quite a mess both in terms of paperwork and in physical terms. It was a wasted trip.
Your info says that the car has airbags, but it does not have them. It does have air conditioning though. The car was imported into my country from Austria. It was also black, not green (probably repainted).
The main issues were that the car had four different tires on it ( ), had wobbling issues, and most of the suspension was ripe for a general overhaul.
It wasn't cheap for nothing.
The thing which I find interesting is that this is a fifth Jimny in the last year, which I found on my local market, which is significantly older than advertised.
The cars' date of manufacture in adverts is based on the year of their first registration. However, it turned out that the year of the first registration for five Jimnys was 3-4 years newer than their year of manufacture (when queried in Suzuki's database).
All cars were advertised as made in 2003 or 2004, when in fact they were made in 1999 or 2000, so they had G13BB engines. All five had VINs beginning with "JSA", so they were made in Japan.
Could it really be that it took 3-4 years for those cars to initially sell from Suzuki's European stock?
