Airbag warning light was created by nick40
hi Folks
I am brand new to the Jimny world having owned mine for 8 weeks now and I am pleased to have found a jimny forum.
She is a 2002 Spanish Built G13bb engined soft top that has done 30,000 miles, I have done a few jobs on her now, new fluids in everywhere fluids go, new lambda sensor which sorted out engine light and new cambelt.
I am looking for a bit of input, I have a airbag warning light on constantly and I have diagnosed it by earthing the reader socket and got a code 21, drivers airbag resistance high. so a couple of questions?
1. If I replaced the airbag and clockspring how would I then reset the light without a suzuki tool and is this likely to solve the problem?
2. Am I better of letting someone who knows airbag systems sorting it out and can anyone recommend some one, I am in Northamptonshire but don't mind travelling a reasonable distance.
3. anyone got anything else to add?
Thanks everyone in anticipation
Nick

The air bag is quite easy swap and the system checks itself when you turn the ignition on so it should reset once you fix the fault. Make sure the battery is disconnected for a while before you work on it.
I have a full airbag kit from a g13b if you are looking for one, both bags and the controller
