how do you add a photo to thread without link?

hi all,
-new to all this, I see a few people add photos directly onto the thread without having to do the attachment and click the link to open it. How do you do this? when I click the attachment link at the bottom it just puts my photo onto a link
how do I display full size on the thread?

The way i do it (on a MacBookPro), i take the picture i want to publish out of my Photomap and put it onto my "desktop".
Then i go to the Big Jimny Forum and i open the topic i want to re-act to, i click on "Reply Topic" and i see following: Subject, Boardcode (with smiley's), Message, Attachments and Subscribe and last "Submit, Preview, Cancel".
So after typing my message i go to attachments and click on "Add File".
Then there is a display showing wherefrom i can choose "desktop" and i will see the picture showing into the list of all other maps and pictures that are displayed onto my desktop.
In this list i pick the picture i want to publish, and click on "choose".
Then i see the name/number from the picture apearing next to the number 1, then click on insert.



I see the text (attachment: 1)IMG_00000.jpg (/attachment) i my text i did typed.
Depending where you did click with your "cursor" it will appear beneath or in the middle from your message.
Then i click on "submit" and in my case the message and picture will be published correctly.
Don't know if this will work with Windows !!!

Thats long...............hit add file pick your file then press INSERT (comes up next to your added file). Make sure you press insert for the pic to appear directly in your post.

That's long to explain, takes me some seconds to do it.
