Scrap or repair? was created by GuardianAngel
The rust on the front end of my Jimny is worse than I thought. Whilst it is repairable its going to be a fair bit of money I think to fix and I am in two minds about getting rid and walking away.
I love my Jimjam but I am not sure I want to spend more time and money chasing the tinworm. What would you do?

Can you pick up another chassis from the wreckers? I wouldn't bother repairing that one but if you can pick up a chassis cheap that would b the way to go.

See if you could buy a front end and swap it over.. possibly quicker than trying to repair it

There is a replacement front panel and inner wings on ebay for 160. Am tempted but the cost of fitting will be a lot.
