Its hard yo calculate the amount they can take but mine puts up with 2600lb of smoothly applied torque with it being the second of a dual case and that's worked out for the output , that would be reduced by shock loading, origin of case and gears, condition , diff ratio,

in not saying carful driving as i don't ! Its teaching yourself to take up slack in drive before applying right foot and you will be amazed what they will take, you will need to minimize case flex though.

I'm planning on running a Opel omegal 2.6 v6 engine and box with my rocklobster behind it then going to hilux axels turning 33" tires. I have a 1.7td Isuzu engine with a Opel manta gearbox but just not enough power and I've blown my second head gasket so I'm going to try a fit the omegal engine and box in somhow :) this is a challenge truck so won't be in the road.

That sounds interesting :)

But why such an insanely heavy engine? I know it has plenty of power :)

And what will you do about front suspension?
What gearbox will you use?

+1 why such a powerful and heavy engine, have you ever watched the rainforest challenge on YouTube a couple of Russians have a Jim with is standard engine and win the whole completion, after watching that I don't see why people put heavier or more powerful engines under the hood
