Erde 102 trailer - anyone got one?

Due to the lack of luggage space, just need a small trailer for camping, collecting firewood, taking stuff to the tip etc. The Erde 102 is within the unbraked weight limit when fully loaded, and has enough room. Are they reasonable quality, and how long might one last if stored outside (vertically)? They're galvanised but galvanised wheelbarrows still rust out in a few years.

Also have a 340 litre roofbox if I need to take stuff for a fortnight, but I'm a bit wary of putting one on a Jimny, even if it's only got pillows and stuff in it; imagine sidewinds!

my mate gave me a galvo trailer to chop up to make my bike trailer
it had been outside for years and i still had to beat the crap out of it to strip it down
the galvo was still good on it just rusted on the bits that had been scratched off or bashed

i had an erde 102 that i bought secondhand and owned for 5 years without a problem. as you say they are only gavanised but if you keep on top of it ( basically keep it clean ) it should serve you well. the quality is good

i have an erde 122 that tows well behind the jimny. have just made a hinged lockable lid for it and am going to further adapt it for use as a dedicated camping trailer

I have a camel trail SWTT07

fit the roofbox to the trailer and make sure you put the heavy stuff like gas bottles and booze in the trailer and things like pillows, duvets and bar snacks in the roof box.. :lol:
