Apart from the obvious diferences such as the body what are the differences? chassis the same etc?

Soft tops were made in Spain and had the G13BB engine up to around 2003-2004. The hardtops got the M13 engine around 2001 I believe. Perhaps someone can confirm? :)

Also, some(all?) soft tops have crankshaft sensor. At least for the G13BB engines. The camshaft sensor ring is also different. 2 lugs on the Soft top, 11 lugs on the hard top.

Plus, the ragtops look cooler :P and you can stick large fridges and pantries and all sorts of stuff in them...
