my original one was universal
but then went down the cargo net route
MUD MULTINET CARGO NET
£33.30 incl del
as it's more versatile
but to make it secure I want to brace a metal bar between the grab rails, the standard fixings are M6 x 16 machine screws
but then I got a bit carried away with anchor points

A lot of good suggestions there, thanks.
Argos have a universal guard on sale for £8.99 (was £34.99); I'm going to give that one a go. If it doesn't fit it won't be a great loss at that price!
Will let you know how it goes

I bought the Argos model. It felt very flimsy, but at the discounted price I couldn't complain.
Secured it to the back of the head stalks with cable ties and it did the job. 4 months on and it's still keeping my large GSD at bay
