As the colder weather is here and batteries start to fail if anyone is looking for a simple monitor/voltage indicator you can't go far wrong with one of these.
They come in different styles and can be configured in different ways.
I had the single light type fitted to my bike and it proved very useful.
It's more than just lights as they incorporate an electronic circuit.
Easy to fit you just need a switched positive and an earth.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

Wanted one of those for years when I was a regular biker, ever since the regulator went on a 350 YPVS and it over voltaged boiled the battery and killed the power valve controller (and the light bulbs...)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

CTEK the Swedish battery chargers do a product called the comfort indicator panel which you fit in the dash and hard wire to the battery ,it then monitors the battery with 3 LED lights and when it is on red you can plug a CTEK charger into it to charge the battery up again,,,, the CTEC can be pluged into the car for long periods if it is not being used
