Do it before the lift or after the correction bushes go in as this will tilt tge axles giving a false amount of oil in diffs as filler bung will be lower less oil in diffs not good

and before you get everything ready to change the diff oils visit your local main stealer and get a pair of new diff filler plugs. the old ones can be a real nightmare to undo. had to weld bolts to mine. it's a square 10mm recessed hole. a 3/8 ratchet head ( usually what most lads will try first ) will round the square hole. a good dose of heat may help. i bought the correct 10mm square tool and it bent

just make some square bits to weld in the holes and theen you can just undo with a spanner when ever they need doing 3/8 undone mine but ive got a 3/8 with the rounded end cut off so its more square works a lot better
