hey i must be near you guys im near royston be good to come out laneing iv been up and down violets lane so many times last time was in the summer so not deep not like it gets in winter very deep iv been in a sj with leaf over axle +2" body lift and still was 2" of water up the side windows which end did you start from ?

Yeah I know Royston, I'm in North Weald where the big market is,just past harlow on m11, yeah defo next we're out I'll let you know, I'm not to sure what end? It's the first time I been there, I know we went with the current the first time down it if that makes sence? We had to turn round as was well deep, I wasn't driving mine when we was there my bro was, I was in the Vitara in the pics and we had it about a inch under the windows lol and its got body lift and sus lift. It was a good laugh! Going downstream wasnt to bad although it did hit the windscreen on mine and my bonnet sits higher than the vitaras :laugh:
Jimny did struggle going against the current but pushed through and to be honest I think I could of gone further. It's the first time I've driven violets and we have had a bit of rain so the water is up anyway, I bottled it half way and decided against pushing on, the light was fading and we only had each other to recover from if we did get into trouble.
We will give you a shout next time we go out Winter the lanes out that way were good, I want to explore Braintree way aswell as I havnt ventured out there.

sweet guys ill inbox you my number so you can let me know when your all going out next we always start the same end as you did with the flow then turn around at other end to head back tip for ya if you are driving with the flow keep to the right/drivers side of bank as some deep ruts on the left or go big or go home stay on the left lol when you get to other end there a very muddy run to your right hand side then turns tight back on track but look out iv seen a sj disco defender 90 all stuck as you turn tight back on track can get a bit tippy at times mates sj nearly went over there i was in it
