Yellow centre and a silver rim or or all yellow? I do also have a silver corsa with similar graphics I painted the wheels on that blue and it does make the car stand out.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Silver is the best colour for wheels. There is a reason wheels are painted silver, works for something like 50 milion cars around the world 
I suppose you could go for a silvery grey rather than star silver if you don't want them too bright.
(Yes my pic has black wheels. They just look odd so I have silver ones now. The Other Car has brake dust coloured wheels: never need cleaning
