Tyres. Event ML698 or Hankook RF10 was created by bryn
I have been doing some tyre research for my Jimny and have decided that it's the Event ML698 or the Hankook RF10 both are all terrain tyres (50/50).
Has anyone experience of these tyres good or bad please.
I did want the Continental Crosscontact All Terrain but in the 205/70 R15 they are almost unobtainable or very expensive.
Thanks for your help,
Bryn

oddly enough , i have literally just been commenting on the hankook. they are awesome tyres. for the last year i have been running these on a forester. i bought them new as the bridgestones the forester ( and jims come with are sh**e ) . the grip offroad is as good as any i have ever come across. i regularly offroaded with defenders and fourtraks . the only thing limiting me was ground clearance. on road they are quiet and very well behaved. if i wanted a/t's again the hankook would get my money without a second thought

Its looking like the hankooks. General Grabber don't do my size in AT which I would have probably gone for. The Contis seem the best alternative but like I say very expensive.

I've got the Continental CrossContact AT's - can't complain with them to be honest. No noisier than the bridgestones on road and have been fine on light offroad duties but I don't have any experience of other offroad tyres to compare to. I got them from Camskill last year.

Im running a set of dynapro RF10s at the minute.
Not sure im of much use as I dont go too mad down the lanes.
Initial impressions were that the tyres were not as noisy as I have heard some other ats.
Also Fuel economy seems decent enough. A mix of 80/20 onn/off road sees about 32mpg for me.
On the road does not have as much grip as the duellers but obviously thats to be expected and still not terrible.
Finally offroad they have done me proud. Again nothing else to compare them to but got me out of trouble in some areas I expected to get a bit bogged down.
