+1 maps only tell you where they are not if your allowed to drive them, council's put temporary road orders on them and close them but dont always sign post this as being the case. Check with local rights of way officers as already said and consult your local difinitive map. You can get prosecuted if in the wrong place,dont drive the lane unless your 100% sure your allowed to.
