Are you sure about that Dave? :-)

Almost all European top comp teams are running petrol V8 :-)

The new ORA eurofighter is powered by a 2.5 v6 with 165 bhp. Finished 4th in the recent King of Portugal.

I like the torque of a diesel. But would choose a petrol v6 any day for offroading.

All 4 challenge trucks i am involved with run big power diesels not a petrol insight must be a British thing then :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I do believe that diesels are more torquey and can handle been dunked under water much better than petrol engine's

Diesels generally have more low end torque and as you say deal with water alot better BUT and its a big but you cant beat the sound of a thundering v8 B)

just seen this guys look at jim marsden he was running in a diesel 90 in kov and with the big boys
and i agree depending on what your using your truck for winch challenges diesel for torque those big power petrols are for timed racing type challenges !
