wow emotions really are running high on this subject. ive just fitted kumho kl71 mud tyres in 195 80 15 form and they seem very good, i have yet to do any really serious offroading and i havent tested them in mud yet as its soooo dry in suffolk but with the use they have had im very impressed so far ( check my thread new shoes for pictures) their much quieter then i expected on road and grip levels seem to be good so far but then if your looking to fly round country lanes i suggest buying a imprezza not a tall 4x4 thats meant to be offroad! the kumhos also look the part. before them i had a miss match of all terrains and used to struggle in the muddy stuff but they were better on road but didnt look no way near as good.

Thats also why i own an impreza turbo as my toy and i put nothing but the best tyres on that i say the best its what in used to and no the limit of the tyre if i was to use a different brand then it would drive/handle compleatly different i normaly go through a pair of tyres a year and that about 6000 miles and i do drive it like i stoll it when im on my own

thanks Darth.

nice markyp, my other toy was a ibiza cupra 1.8 20v turbo, but its up for sale at the moment. went from that to my jimny due to a change in my life. i do miss driving it tho!!!!!rapid little car laughs at most things.likes to eat front tyres for breakfast if you drive it like it wants to be driven, when i first got it (after having a K reg 1.4 clio rt as my first car) i used to go through 2 tyres every 4-6 months.
