From experience, I'd go and see a sign writer with the truck and get them to match it whilst there if that's possible, then see if they could fit it aswell.
I tried the home fit approach using vinyl bought from a local signwriter, that was a perfect colour match and it looked ok until it bubbled and that was that, i gave up and took it to my mates missus when i next visited, who just so happens to be a sign writer (but shes 160 mile from me) The girls there knew what they we're doing and it looks the dogs now. They pointed out that the side windows are slightly curved, which is why mine bubbled when i fitted it myself, despite trying the wet and dry fit approaches. They fitted mine from the inside and heated and shaped the vinyl in a magic way (i wasn't paying attention to how they did it as i was too busy drinking tea and eating doughnuts  ) Despite mine being the best colour  there are numerous different shades and thickness etc all of which affect the final look when you stand back - the girls had various off cuts and samples they tried before they were happy, not me.
It cost a lot less than a window tint to get it done by the pros and it still looks fine (was less than 50 quid for both sides and a see through perforated black on the back, but that was a mate). Took the girls less than an hour, to match and fit.
I do vaguely remember Adamski doing the same to his blue truck in its early days - might be worth checking his thread out as it was blue too - might be the same shade.
But honestly, it aint worth the hassle of doing it yaself, you either need a very dry calm day or a huge workshop to be able to get it spot on - i tried 3 times before i was happy, then it bubbled a day or so after due to the curvature of the glass.
