ORA drift cameras was created by Teds Jimny
I have recently received an email from ORA advertising there new range of cameras from 'drift', they are an affordable version of go pro I think. They suggest they can be strapped to car roll cages and body work. Has anybody used one of these for jimnys?

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I've just ordered (this morning!) a camera as a dash cam, this is the one I went for, supposed to be the best in terms of quality & price, but you can't get it wet.
www.minidvcameras.co.uk/viewitem.php?productid=17
Free shipping here but they don't have any!
joovuu.com/store/index.php?id_product=14&controller=product
They are cheaper direct from China, but there may be customs duty to pay, and a long wait..
Have a look at
for the mobius
www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan he reviews pretty much everything including the mobius
I'll let you know if it works, and if I get it! (I've got the despatch email)
EDIT:
Yes he does sound like James May, but I'm sure he isn't

I have a GoPro Hero HD2 and they are simply fantastic, but they are a lot of money. Saying that, you can now get an HD2 (older model) for around £150. The Mobius in the video looks like a brilliant and well thought out budget alternative. If that had been around at the time I bought the GoPro I'd probably have saved my money and bought the Mobius!
The fact the drift has a screen is a big bonus, as not knowing what you're recording can be a bit annoying.

Thanks both of you, 'facade': isn't that camera quite limiting as you can only put it on the dash? It can't clip to any other surfaces can it?
'Busta' the gopro cameras are great, if I could afford one, I would definitely buy one. However the drift cameras seem to be similar to go pros and yer a lot cheaper.
What I also like about the drift is that you can buy other holders for bike handlebars/helmets etc, I know the gopros have these accessories but does the mobius?

Yes there is no screen, but if I strap it to my bike helmet I wouldn't see it anyway, I was after a dash cam though, that I can leave on the dash without anyone noticing, so something huge with a screen and "DASHCAM 2000" in fluorescent paint was out of contention
I would love a Go Pro, but the price of the Hero 3 :silly:
The mobius has a massive range of accesories like handlebar mounts, but it comes with a clip case affair that can screw to a tripod mount, or take a strap. Have a watch of the techmoan review video, he shows the mounts off towards the end.
Techmoan has reviewed loads of action cams if you have a spare couple of hours.
Comes down to price and what you will use it for in the end.
