Corrected radius arms.. was created by Yellostreak
Ok.. so i'm working out if the tower(dear wife) will give me clearance to go higher than a 2" lift which obviously means new radius arms (unless someone is selling some used ones cheaper!) and increased cost..

what I am trying to work out is if apart from strength and good looks do I actually need the rear ones.. since there is no steering there is no castor angle so there is no need to correct it - right?

I can see that the nose of the diff will be higher so the oil distribution/level may vary but other than that what's the issue with staying with standard arms?

I guess the prop joints will be 'bent' more from being straight if the castor is angle is corrected on either axle..

the only other issue I thought about is the rear springs being bowed without correction

the only thing without rear corrected arms is the springs being bowed but most can live with that so rear arms are not 100% needed but just a good idea if you can

Due to cost I stuck with stock arms but put cc bushes in the rears. . Not perfect on a 4" lift but better than nowt :-)

yeah I guess if the springs are bowing because the castor is not corrected then first opportunity they have they will jump out and not return.. think its all 4 corners then the job is done!
