Rocklobster conversions parts? was created by ne-crock
Right i know this has been disscussed many times and i have searched but cant find my exact answer and trying to get everything ordered today so i can try fit it friday/saturday

I know the obvious like,

The lobster itself,
New mounts
Intermidiate prop
Front sj prop,
New hd bushes

What other things will i need?

Also i currently have a 25mm prop spacer on my front prop, with a 4" lift if i remeber correctly that will be too much spacer when i get my lobster?

Any bits i've missed would be much appreciated

Thanks
Crock

Keep the spacer Mike it will probably come in handy for your mini prop from the gearbox.

With a 4'' lift the other props should fit straight on.

Would 25mm not be too long for the mini prop?

Also what oil?

I've found two answers ep90 or sae 75w-90? Before i go order the wrong one, which one is right?

Is it true it holds 0.8 litres?

SAE 75W-90 0.9litres. The 25mm spacer should be about right for the mini prop mate. I am sure mine is 25mm on a 4.5'' lift.

Your mini prop spacer was 12.5mm Mike, I needed an 18mm spacer with my Rockwatt mount so maybe different mounts require different spacers.
I don't have any spacers on the front or rear props with a 3 inch lift (which lifted it 4 inches)

You'll also need a speed sensor mounting bracket and a toothed ring for the output shaft, if the lobster has been fitted to a jimny already it might come with those if not Rockwatt or ORA sell them.

Also do the mini props vary in length?

I dont know if it does have the speed sensor, does this mean my speedo wont work without it?

Cheers richie, i'm using mikes old mount, so i presume i'd need a 12.5? Its an ora one
