If you are asking why fit one in my case I have an 08 model with the clock on the radio display. I don't need glasses for driving but I couldn't see it compared with the older type clock. I also wanted a volt meter.
My previous car had an outside temp sensor built in to warn of ice and my wife found it useful and we all know how easy the Jimny bites back in wet slippery conditions on the road. ;)

In my case I wanted to know the outside temp. When I jump in the Chimny I miss the Pajero's kit like compass and outside temp. Also I wanted the batt. cond. indicator very much. I doubt I'll use the Chimny much in the winter though. ;)

I've been checking the accuracy of the temp gauge and it tends to run 4° high but this aside it is fairly consistent. I just have to remember that when it says 4° there is very likely to be frost about. :laugh: :laugh:
