if you can change a wheel you can fit them yourself
in theory it should improve handling i guess, more stable...

The only reason for lifting is to fit bigger tyres to give more groung clearence now if youre not going off road and you dont have bigger tyres you dont need a lift
Modding will always make your jimny worse on the road , but we compramise to make them better offroad
