Wow Facade!!! That sure was an explanation, thank you!
I have blasted everything with my all curing WD40 and it has improved things but still have a bit of a hiccup every now and again, but i do drive it a bit like a diesel if i drive it like a petrol (with more revs) it seems to be ok. My engine management light is on is there a way of cancelling that? Frustrating because it never used to hiccup at low revs but hey ho, at least it is not a bad misfire as it was.
Oh BTW went laning yesterday and had to pull out Disco.......RESULT!
Mart :woohoo:

M13 should be OBD2 so beg/borrow/steal a code reader and see what pops out.

I use an alcohol/petrol blend here in Oz so there is no problem with water in the fuel as the alcohol makes any water soluble in the fuel. If you suspect water in the fuel tank, the old time solution was to put 500ml of metholated spirits (Metho) into the tank and this will make the water soluble and it will go through into the engine and out through the exhaust. Give it a try, it is a cheap remedy.
I have been using the E10 (10% alcohol) blend fuel for over 9 years now, it is (in Oz) 95 ron. Our normal unleaded is 91 ron and Super is 97 so it is a good balance of power and clean-burning with the added bonus of being 10-20 cents/litre cheaper than Super. My SOHC G13BB motor has done over 381,000 k's since purchase new and runs beautifully with nary a problem, regular 7,500 k's oil and filter changes.
