Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.
Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum particularly if contacted by a Private Message
Suppliers or Members who have contributed to the forum can be identifed by the logo.

I agree tinting shouldn't affect the insurance at all in fact none of the mods I have made to mine 3" lift, snorkel etc affected my insurance. They were on ly bothered about performance mods ie engine and brakes.

Insurers are not allowed to discriminated directly on gender anymore due to an EU ruling that came into force last December.

You'll find females insurance is still significantly cheaper when compared

As gilburton says... a 1.3 KA can be insured fully comp for £600 as a new female driver... a Jimny will be closer to £1600!
