Quite like the Blueish Black Pearl Metallic / Quasar Grey Metallic Two Tone. It makes the car look a bit more utility.
So there you have it - decided. Now just got to get the pennies together. I am hoping that shortly Suki do a deal on the Jimny once the "need" for a winter cars are past.

OK, the colour is sorted. Now I fancy an automatic, my main car is auto and I have got used to not changing gear. (The Suzi site has a much limited colour choice anyway when you opt for an auto). I am not bothered about the performance as it will be quite a different driving experience anyway. Any opinions on this?

   that's the first time I've seen or heard Jimny and performance together
auto or manual unless the engine has been changed won't make much difference they will both be slow :silly:

I wonder, if you have an auto and a decent oil cooler for it's gearbox oil, save the engine braking benefit of a rocklobster, would it be as good at climbing steep hills and rocks, perhaps with more control than a manual with a rocklobster.
If the gearbox can't handle it then a manual would be better I suppose. The chain driven transfer box is the other thing being crap that they are, but second hand ones are cheap to buy and they are easy to change. A rocklobster does away with it though.
If you don;t want to do any real off roading and it's just for a little light offroad use an auto might be nice.

I saw a gold Jimny in Dubai yesterday. Didn't look too bad. Should have had alloys tho!
