Mine are very noisy on road also and they wander about a bit (mind that could be the loose steering joints  )

They are brilliant off road though not great in deep snow

When running tyres that aggressive you have to accept a few detrimental effects on road with improvements off road. They will never quite balance right, use balancing beads to help, they are noisy and wet grip is terrible, especially under emergency braking!

You might get some steering wheel wobble about 45mph and either side of it if everything is not tip top.

It's a choice you make. The more you modify it towards off road bias, the worse it will be on road.

I now only really green lane with the occasional off road foray, so I'm putting up with the above issues slightly unnecessarily but I don't want to spend money on new tyres, but would like some new bfg's on some nice wheels.
