I love my Jimny but the lack of space gets annoying sometimes.
The rust issues with a disco 1 are rarely chassis related but more body and then the other way round with disco2's. If only they'd perfected it on the disco 2! Then it wouldn't be a Landrover I suppose!
Trouble is, after the rust, is chocolate diffs, shafts and CVs. Hence Mr Ashcroft is a rich man.
I'd like a Jap import but they are like £5k and you've still got to lift it, camel cut it, castor correct it, winch bumper and add a winch to it, stronger steering arms and a guard, diff guards.......
So the Jimny wins and stays and I await (impatiently) for ORA or Jimny Bits to finally release some heavy duty CVs.

I'd prefer a disco over a defender. More room and comfort. A Jimny is more comfortable than a defender. How does that figure? But it is.
