Hi, Can anyone confirm if the front and rear seat belts are the same and can be swapped around. Recently purchased a Jimny and the front passenger belt is a little worn (still passed the MOT). Don't think we are ever going to use the rear belts so it would be great if I could simply swap them.

No cos the front one are linked to the air bag system

Ah..I did see that mentioned on other topic. Is that still the same for 02 plated vehicles? I was ready to take the panel off and have a look but its always worth checking with forum's beforehand...
