Hi

This is pretty embarrassing me asking this but me and my dad (who IS mechanically able) cannot find the dipstick in my 2001 jimny..... We have looked high and low... can anyone help? And make me look very silly :laugh:

It has a bright yellow handle... and if yours is the Double Over Head Cam (DOHC) its towards the back of the engine on the left.



If you have a soft top you may have the single over head cam... which you can see the yellow dip stick on the front left of the engine

Brilliant cheers, I have the first one, and the reason I didn't find it is because the top of the handle has sneered off! :( cheers though

Mine can be tight even if it has only been a few days since i tested the level... so maybe someone has tried to pull it out and sheered it off because it was tight :(

For future ref, i find gently rotating it before pulling upwards helps... just be careful when you pick up a replacement!

Try Cam Suzuki for a replacement... Suzuki will be really expensive as usual
