Some ideas...........

Very nice idea with the roof rail - I'm using the same method (as seen here ) and it works a treat.

Two questions:

- Did you cut the plastic in the rail foot to make room for the grounding strap ? everything works ok after that ?
- The 2 DIN metal cage for mounting the CD player and transceiver ... is it an official Suzuki item or custom made/bought ?

Hello VAXXi, Excellent your CB radio mounting. :)

I´m not cut any plastic. Install the support of the antenna in an existent hole and ground it with strap.

The diamond biband antenna operate correctly with low WSR

The 2 din metal cage is a standard equipment (factory) of jimny´s sold in Argentina

I use an old Uniden 12 and it has about 20-25 k range with a magnetic base and the 600mm aerial. When at work I only use the short 150mm aerial as it picks up too much chatter otherwise from all the other construction vehicles over the 28 kilometres of road building.
