I had my new general grabber AT2 215/75/15s fitted today and am v happy with them! Ride is much better and no wheel wobble!

What has surprised me is since fitting them first gear has become much easier to engage, I had to be totally stationary before but now I can do it at a roll. Any ideas why this would be?!

Bigger wheels will act as a bigger "lever" on the drive train. Maybe this is somehow having an effect?

Bigger tyres can act as a gear like 'guardian angle' said, so adding bigger tyres increase road friction which slows the vehicle down creating a slightly lower version of each gear. Hope this helps.

i found playing around with the psi made them even better, when we got our grabbers fitted they put 33 in them all, lowered it to what it says on the car and it was much more comfortable over bumps than old tyres but a bit of wobble put a bit more in the front not much and wobble went.
