Hi, I am 17 wanting to insure my 2001 jimny, however I can get a cheaper quote than £1600 at linked in which was advertised through tiger.com. This quote is crazy, I have tried so many companies, so don't even want to insure me at all, all the classic 4x4 insurers snot want anything to do with me, I have no convictions, my dads got 19 NCB and I'm just young, can ANYBODY help? :(

Is that third party fire and theft? if so try fully comp it is often cheaper for some reason. My first car was a 1.0l corsa and that cost me £1800 the first year, second was £700 with 1 years no claims, so it will get better (although still alot of money). As markyp2000 said post codes can make a big difference as well as job.
