I received mine today and its just the thing IMO for our Jimny's.

I was considering the X-eng one at the Donny show, but its HUUUGE! for 1/3 the price I'm happy for what it is.

Sorry to say, but I don't think that anchor's gonna be of much use. I will break rather easily. There's no diagonal tubing from anchor plate to where rope attaches and anchor plate is not at all reinforced.

Of course it can be used for light winching. But stuck in 1 meter bog and it wont be of much use.

The X-eng Anchor is big. but not too big to fit in the Jimny. I have one myself :)

You could be right TomDK.

It's EDIT 16mm x 31mm thick solid steel for the main bar and the plate is 1/4" steel. Not sure what the army used these for exactly. For £60 I'm willing to test it out.

Also if anyone's interested. The forces used 2 shackles in the the rear 'blade' holes with strap/chain attached to pull it out. Also help in preventing the 'blade' from coming out of the slot.

Cheers.

There's also a chance I'm wrong :)
Just, don't test with your Jimny hanging from it on a steep slope

£175 sounds insane. That's what I paid for an X-eng Anchor including postage to DK.
