Hi, I've come across this website when searching or Jimny spares - so thanks!

I've just bought an older Jimny and I'm looking for various service parts etc, but I'm a bit confused by the model that I have - can anyone offer any advice on how to work out which model I have?

It's a year 2000 (W), 1.3, Manual, soft top and the log book says it's an 'SJ 413 QB JA Samurai' (no mention of the word jimny anywhere).
The VIN plate shows
Santana Motor Andalucía, S.L.
e9*98/14*0034
VSEFJB33CC00******

When I look up the SJ 413, it shows a completely different looking model though (more square), also this model seems to stop at about 97/98 from what I can tell. The model I have just looks like a typical "jimny" as far as I can tell (with suspension lift and mud tyres), pretty much like slide/image 3 on the front of bigjimny.com homepage!

I'm trying to buy parts, service manual, filters, carpet, mats etc and I don't want to get the wrong stuff - so my questions are;

1) Should I worry about the parts too much or are many of them pretty much interchangeable

2) What model do I have, and what letters/numbers identify it when looking for parts (SJ 413 always seems to show wrong model!)

Picture for reference attached if it helps;

Thanks for any advice guys...
Mark

Many Thanks for the reply - do you know what the main differences between models around this age (2000) are, the engine or bodywork fittings as well?

It's a 16v by the way, If this makes a difference. For instance, I'm looking for a replacement carpet (it doesn't have one), so It would be helpful to know what will and won't fit!

Thanks for the help, it's very much appreciated :)

Do you think that rubber matting would be any good in the rear? Mine's stripped of its rear seats.
