My 2001 jimny hardtop drives fine in all the gears 2wd,4wd and 4wd low but as soon as passengers get in the back the transfer box makes a loud click click click noise under acceleration? As soon as 4wd is selected it drives fine, I'm 90% sure it's coming from the transfer box , I checked the props for any sign of rub or damage but all seems okay? Thanks for looking, all help appreciated

It will depend where its snapped , but it could be less stess when in 4wd .
While your under there grab stuff and start pulling look for movement on anything that is bolted to the chassis including radius arms shocks etc

Could be your chain slipping, putting more strain on the chain when theres more weight in it. If it is let me know ive got a decent transfer box you can buy for cheap.
