Ohhh
JimnyBits
seat relocation brackets went in.
6'2" (188cm) and all legs here, so these made a world of difference. Now my knee is not slamming the door switch/bump and I can stretch out like the back seats doesn't exists.
I bought a set for the sliding seat too, but not sure I'll put them in as that'll make the opening 3" tighter. And it seem already tight. We'll see.
It's the little things

Service yesterday and cleaning the underside today for waxoyl this afternoon. Have had to clean and paint a couple of little bits on edges where water has gotten to it but so far very impressed with how it is holding up to say it wasn't done from new.

Drove it over 700km home after an adventure packed drive around south Queensland.
One highlight was taking a somewhat snarly track to a mountain top with amazing 360degree views.
And watching some much heavier 4wds take on a challenge known as beer oclock hill. Only one succeeded, many failed but were mostly not seriously damaged from the experience.
Will post some pics and vids tomorrow. Bit tired now

Today I tested the brakes and I am able to report I didn't drive into the sea.
The road stopped and so did I, at least for a while.
Tomorrow I have to drive through a hurricane, lucky me.

I jet washed it (yesterday) to get the last of the quarry clag off it from the previous weekend and also to remove bits of the Yorkshire Dales from Sunday's day trip.
Then today, I polished it with Meguiars Ultimate Polish and finally Ulitmate Liquid Wax to get the paint ready for winter. I was going to apply a Ceramic Coat, but the wax is so good, I don't think it needs it.
I even did the roof with the polish, it took ages and still doesn't look as good as the body, that black paint is not going to be long lasting.
I am quite happy with the two morning's work, it hasn't shined like this since I bought it 7 months ago.

Not necessarily today but last weekend I did 1052 miles round the top north east section of the NC500. I deliberately left the west section as it was pushing 80mph wind which would only have been getting stronger up on the exposed sides of mountains in the middle of nowhere. Not necessarily a good idea in a light weight narrow high sided 4x4 with soft suspension. That said the trees were putting on a magnificent display of reds and golds and oranges.

Had to park it on the sand dunes today whilst going for a sail as the car park was full.
For our Aus friends that is the closest we are allowed to the beach up here.
For the really observant of you, that is a Porsche next to me on the dunes, so perhaps not that impressive.

Today I drooled over this Gen4 5 door…… Shame we don’t get them in the UK as it would be perfect and I would be able to return to a Jimmy!
