Yet more Jimny in the snow pics and vids! was created by GuardianAngel
On Sunday I drove the J around the local area in the snow, firstly to my archery club to sling some arrows. Then I headed off to Headley (behind Box Hill) and drove along some really picturesque lanes.
Then finally the Wife and I drove up Zig Zag Road to the top of Box Hill. Zig Zag Road was used in the Olympic cycle race and is a series of gradients with sharp hair pin bends, eventually leading up to Box Hill. We didn't come down that way because we were told about 12 cars and 4x4's had come off the road near the bottom of the hill! Bet none of them were JimJams
(didn't see any JJ's all day
)
The roads were mostly very flat, compacted and slippery snow. My front wheel drive car wouldn't have stood a chance in the same conditions. The J didn't miss a beat with stock tyres, even climbing inclines. Really please with it
Here are some pictures of the J at the archery field.
Here is a video of our trip up to Box Hill.
Video of the driving around Headley to follow, as I need to edit it to get it down to a YouTube acceptable size and length.

The car before it chickened out too
I was expected to be spinning wheels all the way up but it just did it. No fuss.

That's a hell of CB antenna you have on the back of your Jimny (first photo)!! :laugh:
Nice photos and vid.
Standard Duelers are very under rated IMO. I have three sets of tyres and wheels - ATs; MTs and standard duelers.

Thanks. To be fair it was not extreme conditions (i.e. Deep snow) but slippery.
However I am looking at getting some better tyres when these wear down, maybe some General Grabbers...
