We have had about 4-6 inches here in the Midlands
Didn't turn up until 8am though... then caused chaos!
Been out a couple of times for a play with the jimjam... didn't have any troubles
Even tried a fairly basic greenlane

I travelled from Hertfordshire to mid Wales last night and got snow from Milton Keynes. Heavy snow around the M6 and M42 light snow down the M5 to Worcester
Lanes from Worcester to mid wales were pretty easy with only some snow on the hills.
Just been out this afternoon to see what it is like. Very few cars on the road and about 4" of snow.
Local Tescos had 4 cars in the car park!!!
Just up the road from Llandrindod Wells, Powys
Plan to travel back to Hertfordshire on Sunday. I might find more snow going East.
Have fun all and stay safe.

Had an "interesting" experience today in my first ever snow and serious 4x4 trip in the J.
Decided to drive to the end of the road and go up a steep hill that is always shut in the snow just to test it out. It's about a 25 to 30 degree climb. Put it in 4x4 and it got up the hill no problems. Was amazed
At the top of the hill a car was stuck trying to turn around. Anyway he was blocking the road so the only way down was to reverse, so I said I would go and get my waffle boards and get him going.
This hill has houses and cars parked all along one side, and quite narrow. Reversing down was scary and the J was sliding down with the brakes on so a few times I had to throttle hard in forward to stop it sliding and going sideways.
Got home, got the waffle boards, but stopped near the bottom of the hill and walked them up and got him out.
On my way walking down the hill, a big transit type van was inching his way down slowly. I get in the J and then noticed he was waving his arms trying to tell me has no control of the van, so I am reversing as fast as I can down the remainder of the hill (but in a controlled way) with this van about 10 metres in front of me coming at me :woohoo: Luckily the hill flattened out and he stopped and all was OK.
