The Z bar was to correct the geometry of the drag link when you did spring over axle to be honest there were some pretty nasty home made rubbish about.
I see Martin does list a extension pitman arm which sounds like a much better option if you want to go some way to putting your steering geometry back where it should be.
Im sure i will get slated for it but it must be better to have your steering geometry where Suzuki intended it to be but thats only my take on it

And you DO NOT use those ghetto fabbed half a$$ed Z-$hit-draglinks on public roads in ANY circumstance! There are proper ways to clear the leaf spring on SOA vehicles!
Too bad the scary steering site seems to be down at the moment...

Most people who tend to bodge parts and make the roads unsafe for normal people who spend more time amd money on certain items to make there cars road legal. Seem to find a mot tester to pass there vechicles, even if its for abit extra cash or a favour in return.
Unreal how many people you get asking you. "You could just ingnore that"
Erh no i would lose my job if caught and thats not worth it.
Old people tend to be worst specially old women argueing about it.
