Jimny in limp mode was created by Vytrix
Hi,
I have a 2000 hard top jimny and when I fitted my winch I accidentally earthed my battery out on the engine block.
Since then it's been running in limp mode. And recently it's got worse.
When it idles it runs fine. But when I'm driving it as soon as I try to accelerate it holds back and EML comes on but when I let off EML goes off and it runs ok but still in limp mode.
I have changed all sensors, MAP, CAMSHAFT, LAMDA, TPS, 02, coils, plugs. Leads and today I got a new ECU put in by auto electrician but its still exactly the same.
It has had a 1600 conversion and no code reader will work not even the one at local suzuki dealer.
I am completely stuck.
Can anyone help?
