Did the jimny come with remote central locking? was created by minibbb
My 2005 jimny jlx has central locking but no remote fob. Was it equipped with this as standard? I need to order a new key and would prefer remote central locking

Alas it doesn't, just two plain keys, one coded to work the ignition and the other uncoded which is a bit useless.
Need to order a new key as my coded one has a crack in it, shouldn't be Tom pricey without a remote.
Thanks for the help

If it doesn't, then you don't have the remote locking module and you need to install one.

I see ZookFastback just posted something useful here: reprogramming the imobiliser .
