I bought a Jimny that had no remover for this spare wheel locking nut. I didn't want to risk wrecking the cover so I made this with three 4" nails, a cheap spark plug socket and some hard bodywork filler.
Cut the three nails off straight and stuck them together with a blob of filler. Once that had gone off I used another big blob to stick it inside the socket. Gave it 24 hours to set then the nut came off even easier than I expected - I did give it some WD40 for a couple of days before.

I'm the other end of the spectrum...............no locking at all.

So I added another wheel stud that I'd drilled to take a padlock.
