lowering a jim ? was created by reaper
Anyone lowered a jim ? Have a couple of questions :-)
Im thinking 2" lower
So swap front springs for backs to drop the front 2" then find some to suit the back any ideas ? And any problems with doing this ?
Ok so thats the springs , how about shocks will the stock ones be ok or will i need shorter ones ?
Last one now castor correction .....needed or not ? And if it is would the bushes put in the wrong way round work ?

Loads there for you to go at :-)
Any other things/problems you can think off ?

If you're only going 2" why not put it on an air ride kit then if you need it standard height you can simply push a button and lift it, have a look at www.havair.me.uk most of their work is boy racers etc, but he is currently doing an old Rolls Royce so will put anything on air.

I tell you what is a cool Suzuki to lower and put some Rota alloys on.... the Wagon R!

Can't see it working on a Jimjam really!

Now then, off you go and prove me wrong! (Sounded a bit like Jimmy Saville then. The Police will be round to get me soon. Now then, now then...)

I have a big lifted jim so dont need the next one to be any kind of off-roader so thought how about lowering it a tad ,
13_" wheels lol no dont think so not only would they look daft in the arches but pcd and bore is waaaaaay off , if anything id want some 17" or 18" with lower profiles to keep the rolling diameter the same as stock
