Can you be a bit more specific? There's a lot of little differences, but the engine blocks are pretty much the same on all 1.3l engines.
Gearboxes are of course different because those are fwd cars.

The justy is 4wd
And as far as i can tell the engine is the same on all 3 just unsure where the swift gti fits in.
And if any changers were made when the engine was used in the jimny

Yeah, Justy is 4wd, I stand corrected! But the gearbox is still pretty much like the fwd box.
There are two versions of the gti engine, but they're basically the same. Better intake and some minor improvements on the newer one. It also has the same g13b block which the Jimny engine is also based on, and the early ones use g13a block. But they don't share much more parts with the Jimny engine other than the block. All of them bolt directly on the Jimny gearbox.

Reaper, what engine does your jimny have? I think you may have a M13a engine, maybe you should look towards the Liana M16a engine? I'm thinking of buying (when I have money) a complete Liana so I also get the ECU and be able to test the engine out first.
They can be picked up very cheap.

Reason i ask is a mate of mine has a swift he is scraping
It had a justy engine when he got it but soon blew that
Now this car has had an izuzu 1.7D engine transplant from a corsa van
See where im going with this
