some have obd2 on a white sticker either in the engine bay or under the dash , saying that mine didnt
also many say the plug is in the glove box again mine wasnt
the plug on my 2001 jimny is under the steering wheel (looks abit like a scart plug)
if it has 3 wires connected its obd1 if 4 or more its obd2

Mines a 2001 tin top.
Plug under the steering column.
Plugged a reader in, nothing! Just comes up with "Trying to connect"
Have tried it in other similar aged Jimnys (Jimnies?) and the same, nothing.
Works on the Merc and other newer cars in the 'family'.
So does that mean mine and the other Jims are OBDI?
