Truck pulling to the right when braking!! was created by jo king
Please help as I have a problem regarding braking as above. My brake pedal goes down further than normal at times. I think it could be the rubber tube bulging slightly on the nearside under braking. As the brakes were ok the day before and only road use.

Rubber tube? Do you mean the brake pipe?
Sounds like you need to check how much pad & shoe material there is, replace if worn to excess, give them a good bleed and make sure the sliders are free and the piston's not seized.
Probably seized sliders.

As above, typical symptoms of seized sliders and or seized piston. It will be the left one stuck explaining why it pulls to the right.
Dismantle it all, spray some good old WD40 under the rubber boot front and back of the sliders. Give it a few minutes to work then tap them from both directions until they move. Take care not to damage the rubbers and the ends of the sliders. Once they're out clean them up with some wet and dry and give them a good coat of something like 3 in 1 or better is a thin coat of copper ease. While you have it all apart if the pads are low or low enough to change them its a good time to as they're only cheap.
Check all you lines for splits and any unions for leaks and check your fluid level.

Execpt don't use copper grease on the rubber bits, they won't like it eventually...

Yep, mine did that and It was a seized front brake cylinder, will be left one if it pulls to the right. Quite a common problem on Jimnys especially if offroaded a lot .

Mine too, seized caliper slider. Absolute bugger to shift but once sorted brakes now pull up straight.
