how well do you think a jimny (ALL standard) would get along pulling a small caravan ?
say...
Unladen 630 kgs
Max Weight 750 kgs
and, I've got manual locking front hubs... so .. this mean you gain 2WD low. because you can select 4WD low but the lockers remain FREE. so this would be good if you faced a hill start.

Unfortunately towing anything above 350kg unbraked / 450kg braked would be illegal and would void the insurance
I tow a 320kg teardrop caravan and it's fine however I think it would struggle with 630kg.

We were in North Wales the other week and were cruising to Wrexham through some villlage acclaimed as the highest in Wales or similar when right on a tightbend we met a Jimny towing a massive caravan, upon closer inspection it had Italian plates on so I'm guessing the man with no imagination had travelled a very long way. He had done very well to get that far but watch out he may be coming your way !!

Even those freedom microlite efforts are out of reach for the humble little jimny! Looks like its a tent for you then!
I know people they tow caravans with them but i presume they are more concerned with if it can physically tow it rather than legally tow it.....
